If after you have uploaded your revised template package, you discover that your graphics are not displaying, here is a checklist of possible causes:

  1. You have not uploaded the graphics to your server at all or did not upload them in binary mode.
  2. You have not uploaded the graphics to your server within an "images" directory.
  3. You have not uploaded the .css file to your server under the root directory (The root directory is the same directory which contains the index.html file.).
  4. You have changed the HTML source code or the .css file of the template so that it is looking for the graphics somewhere else other than in the "images" directory.

All of our web templates are coded to pull images from an "images" directory. When unzipping the template package with an unzip program that correctly decompresses the files with a directory structure, the structure will look similar to the following:

 - index.html
 - images (directory)
      - header.jpg
      - bkheader.jpg
      - button.jpg
      - space.gif
 - btstyle810.css

This is how the structure should appear prior to editing and after upload on your server. If you cannot determine the cause for missing images after going through the checklist, contact our Tech Support team after you have uploaded the files to your server and provide them with the direct URL. They will view your website and source code live on your server. Do not send attachments or embedded content within your email to our staff as this type mail will be deleted by our servers.

If you are having difficulties viewing your new template from your computer system or your HTML editor's "preview mode", upload your files to your server.

Never solely depend on your HTML editor's "preview mode" as an accurate way to view your web page. The only way to accurately view your website as your visitor's would be viewing it, would be to view it live on your web server.
